This is my newest Foster dog, Fly! He is a 1yr old black labrador mix that was a stray and now is on the long timers list at the shelter and his time will be up soon so I couldn't say no to not take him and foster him. I'm picking him up tomorrow to take him home and to the vet. He's so cute and he's gonna have tons of fun with my German Shepherds, Major and Axel.


Here are some pics of Fly from the shelter. I'll have some pictures to share of him once I bring him home and introduce him to Major, Axel, and the 2 cats. As well as pictures of him at the doggie daycare to play a couple times a week where I work at besides training. I'm excited!

It's been awhile since I've made a post in this community with my shepherds. I have my White Shepherd male, Radley and my GSD mix male, Major along with my other dogs.

And I've been fostering dogs from all kind of breeds and still going to but I couldn't resist and as of yesterday, June 22nd, I adopted a cute little German Shepherd puppy. His name is Axel and he's so cute. They say he's around 4 months. He's very smart as GSD dogs are and hasn't had any potty accidents in the house, does great in his crate, learning his commands fast, loves going on walks, and plays great with his toys and goes in the pool. I was so excited to get him yesterday after work from the shelter. And he does great with my other dogs too.

I have some good news! My foster dog, Buck is being adopted and their taking him home this friday. YAY!

They are a nice couple who will treat him well and give him tons of love and attention he deserves. Buck has been learning commands like, sit, down, stay, come, off leash training, and much more and doing great. They are gonna love him so much. He's such a super sweet boy who is now a lucky boy to have his forever home.

I'm not gonna lie and say I'm not gonna miss him and Major, my german shepherd will miss him too. I'm gonna miss him tons! But he needs to go to a good home so I can foster more dogs. And so it's not a text only post, here are a few pics of Buck.

This is Buck. He is being fostered by me and ready to go to his forever home. From Sheltered Paws Dog Rescue.




Bio:

Buck was found abandoned in a garage filled with trash, junk, and other matter. He was very skinny and lonely. Despite this treatment he is a friendly dog. He loves playing ball. He also really loves treats.

Buck is good with other dogs. He is an energetic male and would do best with a submissive female or male dog, or would be fine as the only dog in a home. He loves to play with my 1.5 yr. old male German Shepherd mix dog all day long. He does well with cats and will ignore them.

Buck loves laying with you on the couch while watching TV or relaxing. He also likes the little kiddie pool on a warm, sunny day. He enjoys toys and can keep himself entertained for hours. Some favorites are rawhides, bones, tennis balls, and rope toys. He also loves treats.



Buck does fine going into his crate and sleeps there the full night. He is being trained on some basic commands and has great eye contact. Buck is now fully housetrained. He has lots of potential.

Buck goes to Camp Bow Wow several times a week for socialization and playtime. He does well in a group of similar sized dogs. Camp Bow Wow is located in Blue Ash, Ohio. Call: 513-745-9850 to get more info on Buck and to come meet him today at Camp to see if he is the right dog for you!

Buck is a very sweet and loving boy who deserves a good home. He needs an owner who will give him tons of love and the security of never being abandoned again.


Buck was part of a DNA testing program to see what exactly his pedigree was. The results are back and we now know that Buck is 60% Boston Terrier, 10% Belgian Tervuren, 10% Parson Russel Terrier, 10% Bulldog, and10% Boxer. His foster mom will have the certified/stamped paperwork with all these numbers.

I wanted to share some pictures I took at work of Santana the pit bull puppy. I hope it's okay to share even though he's not my dog. He has been boarding with us at work for training. He's the cutest little thing. I want one like him so bad. I almost wish he was a foster dog because I'd take him in a heartbeat.

Ah not another dog post. Not that anyone really reads them. But today around 10am we get this American Pit Bull Terrier puppy named Santana. He's a 5 1/2 month old pit who is doing a board and train with us at work. And of course his stupid owner doesn't want to neuter him which is stupid. He gets along with dogs just fine but we have to watch where we put him and what dogs are in the playareas, especially the dominant male dogs. A more just in case so their arn't any fights, especially him being a pit bull. I don't want him turning into a bad dog since Pit Bulls get a bad rap already and cincy has a ban on them, yet a lot of people around here have pits and pit mixes.

I already love Santana, he's a cutie and learns fast and listens. Here is a pic of him. (I'm like obsessed with taking pics of dogs, can't help it, but I promise I watch them too! ha). And it wasn't easy getting pics of him, he moves too fast.

Speaking of pits, when I went up front today to eat my salad for lunch, I saw this beautiful huge gorgeous blue pit male, he's almost 1 yrs old and his name is Duece. He came in for a consultation to see if they wanted him to get trained with the trainer at work. He was so beautiful and sweet. OMG it makes me so jealous, but so glad we are getting more bully breeds at work. I love them!

It's almost pathetic that I can't wait to go to work tomorrow just because I know Santana will be there. I work 11am-7pm tomorrow.

I may be fostering this girl as well. Her name is Wednesday(I didn't name her) and she's a terrier/border collie mix female.

I think this dog will get adopted out faster than Sophie since Sophie is AM bulldog and cincy sucks ass for its pit bull ban bullshit and all. I hate cincy, I really do.

edit: April 1, 2009: so I'm not fostering, but I am fostering a deaf male Boxer.

Went to the shelter today. It was cold but the sun helped a little. I walked a few dogs and stuff. Then came home and took a shower. I'm so tired.

Here are a few pics and I realized how blah and huge I look. So that means I'm going on the treadmill more starting today and not eating as much. I eat healty shit all the time, it's frustrating. I dont eat cookies, chips, or bad shit anymore. wtf.

today i finally sent out my clothing outfits for the Imago mag and zine. woo. hope it makes it there for the april 15th photoshoot for sandra to dress up and stuff with. woo! extra thing in the mag my stuff can be in besides the fashion show for it, my ad, zine, and all that other shit plus the free mag ad. yay. cant wait to see it.

comes out on JUNE 2nd.

im also got some of my fabric in the mail today. woo. waiting on the other 5 yards to get here. ha. going to be making some awsome new shit as well.

i gotta work at the gay bakery for 9-3 tuesday and wed then im off thursday-saturday. woo. not good as far as money but i can have time to do clothing. i hate going to work. dread it. work is gay.

i also need to dye my hair really bad and get it cut. top of my head is turning brown with blonde streasks. if i dont dye it itll turn into erics hair. aghahhh. lame.
